WE WON!!!!!!!

MY TEAM PLACED FIRST AND BEST PRESENTATION OVER ALL!!!!!!!! We did so much better then I thought we would, & I was being “Miss Positive” for our team. Out of 22 high school culinary teams only 2 teams got a gold metal, then I think there were 5 silver (2 C.C. teams received this), 5 bronze (that’s what South’s team got) and the rest didn’t place. Another one of our teams placed 1^st in the Knowledge Bowl, but didn’t place in the cooking part. Over all are teams did really well, each winning team earned $500 in scholarship $, and one guy won a really awesome, expensive knife. Not that any of you find that exciting like us future chefs do…

I can’t wait until Nationals; I think my team will do an awesome job!!! If Mrs. Galusha ever gets over her shock. LOL My friend Rae & I were freaking out b/c we placed better then the other C.C. teams & b4 they announced the winner we had a photographer staring at us waiting to take our picture.

I’m so proud of my dessert one of the judges said it was ready to go on a menu & if he could he would put it on his, he’s one of the head chefs at an upscale restaurant, so I’m guessing that’s a good thing. :) We should be in the Omaha World Herald tomorrow, so everyone should check it out.

Wow I’ve been so busy preparing for my upcoming        Culinary Competition (February 24-25^th) I haven’t had time to update. For those of you interested it’s a 2-part competition, the 1^st part is the Knowledge Bowl, which is kind of like jeopardy, but w/teams, & you don’t answer in the form of a question. Then the 2^nd part is the cook-off each team has 1 hr to prepare & serve 2 platings (sp?) of each: an appetizer (or salad), entrée, starch, vegetable, & dessert, using only 2 gas burners. Our menu is so awesome, we have Sopas (sp?) enchiladas, Spanish rice, stuffed peppers, & mango empanadas w/Pomegranate sauce.

I’m also going to be in the Miss Nebraska Teen Pageant on July 15-16^th (Sat-Sun) at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in Lincoln, I’m so excited this is my 1^st pageant, & if I do well in this I get to go on & compete in the National American Miss Pageant & get a modeling scholarship, so wish me good luck. I’m still looking for sponsors so if anyone as any ideas let me know. Well I have to go finish my valentines, so that’s it for now.

I got a new pet he’s a baby Hairless Dumbo (bald rat w/huge ears) he’s 1 of those animals that’s so ugly he’s cute. Can you guess his name??? If you were smart you would have said Dumbo… Lets see what else...

Model Search America wants my mom & me to go to Las Vegas, so I can model in front of 2,000+ agents/people like Elite, Next, Irene Marie, ID, Click, Trump Modeling Agency, & well I think you guys get it’s a lot of people.  I’m so excited!!!  I just hope I’m able to do it.

I still need to find a partner for the guy girl dance, but I think I know who to ask.  I should probably hurry up & do that before it’s to late…

Okay gotta go finish my book.

Today was such a good day, except for now since I feel like passing out my stomach hurts so much.

After school, I went to the Mall of the Bluffs w/Kenny, Josh, Aaron, & a couple other people. Of course the guys were there for three reasons cause trouble, pick on me, & girls. We walked around, ate, & us girls were checking out the guys (there were 2 who were just beautiful)

We stopped into Sam Goody, & Aaron had to have a guitar solo, he's not that bad...

Well I'm going to sleep, to see if that helps, & I'll write more later.

Hey everyone, just sitting here at my aunt’s w/Mollie watching the football game, causing trouble. We took the little girls to go see Narnia today, it was pretty good, but I still like the cartoon.

Went to dance today boy that was fun, nothing like learning a whole dance in less then 3 hrs, when everyone else knows it…

WOW!!!!! I just found out my grandpa in Arizona is starting a church w/ wife #5. What's weird is it's not based on the bible, they just sit read, & discuss god, peace, love, & harmony like a bunch of hippies. They don't even have a priest, b/c they don't need one until they reach a certain amount of members. He didn't even send Christmas presents b/c "they have to cut done on the unimportant things," this isn't a big deal to us older kids, but he has 3 other grandchildren who are very upset about this. I think his wife doesn't like his children from previous marriages, b/c she made him buy presents for her kids. It's crazy, confusing, & ridicules!!! Just thought I'd share that w/everyone...
